Stars and The Other Kind

While the world is currently revolving around the Ati-atihan festival in Aklan (which I'm unfortunately missing because I had to do schoolwork today) and Willow Smith's new music video, "Whip My Hair" (ahwhipmahheahbackandfoth! Nah, kidding. Willow has a nice voice.) I am reading news about the new star sign in the sidereal horoscopes, Ophiuchus, that exasperatingly pushed itself into the moon's gravitational field and whipped up so much confusion among innocent non-astrologers. To clear things up, your zodiac signs are far from departure if you are inclined towards Western astrology, which believes in the tropical zodiac. This relies more on the seasons and if you wonder why you should believe more in the tropical zodiac, here is the reason:

"Astrology is geocentric. It relates life on Earth to the Earth’s environment, and seasons are the most dramatic effect, which is why we use the tropical zodiac." This is according to an astrologist named Jeff Jawer.

Usually I'm indifferent when it comes to these things, so I'll leave it at that. Visit this link for more information about how the occurrence of Ophiuchus came about.

Speaking of stars, I had a movie date with my two friends earlier and we were supposed to watch Gulliver's Travels...but The Tourist was showing, and we're such fans of Johnny Depp that our feminine inclinations got the better of us. If you're a movie critic, you won't be entirely impressed. On the other hand, we, being carefree kids, enjoyed the whole movie experience. While the people at RottenTomatoes.com think Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp don't have any chemistry happening between them, my stomach was flipping the whole time they were together. Oh, Johnny, Johnny.

Angelina Jolie, Y U SO PRETTY?!

And Venice...I don't even know where to start. It's like a dreamland for hydrophobics. If the Earth was a bowl of ramen, Venice would be the fishcake!

Now I'm going to begin saving up for my imaginary Euro-tour.
