I'm now officially a candidate for graduation! We took the final final exams for high school just two weeks ago. I don't know how I fared in the tests but I know I definitely flunked Economics and Filipino. I never had much talent in those subjects...
I also turned seventeen on the last day of the finals along with nine other people. So far, March 4 has the most number of celebrants. Quite unfortunate, yes? You expect to be greeted, "Oh, hey, Mia! Happy birthday... You look amazing today, as always!" and the moment between you and that person would usually last a couple more minutes, but then he turns to several other people saying the same thing. Then again, who am I to complain? Aside from tripping over ghastly objects on my birthday and meeting a deranged dude with a gun early in the morning, I had a good time. I didn't celebrate it in my own house with my family, which is quite ironic; instead I went to the required sleepover in the mansion of one of my classmates-slash-good friend, Karmela, to practice for the culminating activity. Before that I had to reassure myself I'd have a full hour of attention directed to my face and had lunch with my closest friends (plus Karl and Pope, haha) Credits to Pope for the lovely cake!

Euan (left), a classmate, was also born on March 4. Taken at Karmela's mansion. My classmates are the best! |
