I am Productive

I was feeling horribly crappy this morning (still am, but my awesome immune system is starting to get things back in shape) -- runny nose, sore throat and all -- so I decided to move a bit so evil fluids can exit my body.

That sounds wrong.

It has occurred to me that every time the holidays kick in, my body feels the compulsion to stay put in one place with my laptop and a couple of cinnamon rolls as my only friends. Hence, to make up for this unproductive habit, I decided to help out in cleaning my room. Emphasis on help out. I can never clean my room and be satisfied with how it looks. Once upon a good time, while God was distributing the homemaking talents, I fell out of line.

I looked around my room and, lo, I heard my books screaming for help. I pulled them out of my makeshift bookshelf for dusting and they all looked terrible. That was a very painful moment.

I decided, then, to transfer them into a lighter area where dust (and molds, probably. Gross as schmuck!) can't accumulate. And where's better than on my study desk?!

Sometimes I'm obsessive-compulsive when it comes to organizing things so I made these tags. My handwriting looks so neat, I think I'm getting emotional.

These are classics high school English required us to read. I regret nothing.

Of course, Salinger. A favorite.

I'm a Psychology enthusiast. I have a copy of Tadahiko Nagao and Isamu Saito's Kokology I. It's a compilation of psych tests; they can actually be played as games. Definitely worth Php 400.

And . . . I couldn't think of any genre for Murakami so I decided to stick him in "surreal." It's kind of funny.

I don't collect manga but I have one volume for Chobits, Miyu, and Ai Yori Aoshi each. To be honest, I never came to like any of them.

The Essential Kanji book is birthday gift from a friend. Apparently I haven't used it at all (I quit learning Nihongo when I realized it's too late to memorize katakana, hiragana and kanji. Very sad), but I consider it important nonetheless.

 Zafra deserves her own genre.

  2. The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Pretty mainstream, I guess? I REALLY love this book but it's with one of my friends right now. (why hasn't he returned it yet?!) if you have a recommendation, tell me! I need something new to read.
