July has been horrible. Let's leave it at that. To alleviate those little reverberations of frustration, I am listing down all the things we should be looking forward to in September:
1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower film premiere. Frankly, what could be better than the Emma Watson and Logan Lerman team-up, aside from napoleones?
2. The release of Two Door Cinema Club's newest album, Beacon (September 3). I love this band to microscopic bits. Have you heard Sleep Alone? It's so awesome I just want to sit in a corner and cry.
3. And the release of The XX's second studio album! It's called Coexist and will be out on the eleventh. It's a good month for music.
4. My high school classmates/friends coming home for a good friend's birthday. This isn't a part of the "we" statement but I'm so excited, I don't really care anymore.
And . . . Wait for it . . .
5. How I Met Your Mother season ocho! If the producers delay the premiere, which is on September 24, I will pull their guts out, sautee those guts, and shove those guts right back into their stubborn hindquarters. Ted deserves to be married on time!
