Anchor

Muchacha en la Ventana (1925), Salvador Dali - probably his most "conventional" work

The world is running to places we can't see.
They're leaving us behind.
(It's all right.) Go without me.

Come back when you've taken
what we both don't have

right now.

I will be waiting behind the scratches,
along diluted lines of consciousness.

Don't take too long.

You will be the comfort
I will depend on;
the sustenance,
the firmest faith.

The anchor to these thoughtless feet.
