Mhysa

Have I mentioned that I am a big fan of Game of Thrones?

(I do not read the books because I barely have time to finish Eugenides' Middlesex, which is very sad, and it is not that long of a book.)

This is the series I have the most emotional investment in. Not even Girls tops this.

I have noticed two things: the seasons' more legit finales are the ninth episodes, and that the last scene of the tenth episodes are scenes featuring Daenerys. Foreshadowing, perhaps?

I Swore BUT

Last month, I swore to leave the fandom of animated series because I am currently in the adolescent phase of being picky about anything related to art. But (pardon the sentence fragment, I'm trying to adapt a casual-speak tone) I was reminded by the frequent status updates in my Facebook feed (I still visit Facebook even though I hate what I see there) about the sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender. I grew up watching the series, which ended four years ago (can you freaking imagine that?!) and grew to love Michael Dante Dimartino and Bryan Konietzko's conceptualized world.

They were awesome before it was cool

Source: Couchtime

I can't believe I just started watching How I Met Your Mother. What have I been doing all my life?

The show and I are pretty much in the honeymoon phase right now. I don't know when the real couple deal is going to kick in (the part where I will need commitment) but as I am typing, I don't need commitment to stay true to Barney Stinson and the rest of his friends (who, by the way, I am not deliberately forgetting lest I shall resort to self-loathing again.)

If you haven't seen an episode of HIMYM (I'm a fan of acronyms. My roommate reprimands me all the time) you're lucky. It ain't eating up your study time/life. I'm sorry, Ma.

P.S. I saw a GIF of Robin's kids last week on Tumblr. They're so *flowery adjective*, I want to marry both of them. Eh, eh.
