Why Women Spazz

A/N: Before anything else, spazz takes on a different meaning from what I'm writing about. In the dictionary it is an offensive term, but in this post, and in the average fan girl's mind, it is a term used for obsessing over a certain guy-- ahem, celebrities-slash-KPop idols, for instance. Obsessing? Wait, scratch that. Adoring a guy is more like it. Or loving him to a radical extent. (Grammar fragment! NO!)

A couple of days ago, a friend asked me what I wanted for my birthday (here's the deal, kid: give me Code-Limited apparel and we'll be best friends forever). I told him I wanted Yesung. Yes, Yesung (haha, that sounds funny), the ever-adorable lead (ugh, fine, I like Kyuhyun...so that should be co-lead) singer of the KPop group Super Junior. I've mentioned them before. But anyway, he asked me why we (my batch mates and I) love Super Junior so much.

"What do you even see in them?" he asked.

They're very easy on the eyes, that's what! Each member is shiny in his own metallic way. E.g., if you'd ask my why I irrationally fell for Yesung in the first place, I wouldn't point things out right away. He isn't as hot as Siwon, nor does he have Kyuhyun's sweet features... He's just Yesung. He has this weird way of making people laugh, and his features are so soft you'd have to wonder how God actually chiseled him.

Now if you are one of the majority of my friends who do not adore SuJu, you would skip that part. I know that if you had read that, you'd have a stick up your *censored* again. Kidding, kid. I don't hold a grudge against non-fans unless you're a friggin` anti.

I probably belong to half of the female population who have their hormones on abnormally high levels, so a safe assumption is that not all women spazz. I have friends who can verify that. I like staring at beautiful people, and perhaps they do too, but they don't take it seriously like I do. And sometimes having friends like them is like being anchored to the real world. They keep you grounded.

Being an artist at heart (I still can't draw decent hands, dammit) is a pain. I appreciate beauty too much it makes me excited whenever I see a cute guy. I have too many crushes. Some aren't even real people.

So...Why do women spazz?

I speak on behalf of the people who think like me (or at least, in that aspect). It makes us happy. Jumpy. It's basically embedded in our genes. The excitement keeps us emotionally alive. I know you know what I mean. Find that inner fan girl in you and you'll feel it too. Trust me. I tried to stop it but I failed.

So much for feminism.
