...and I've already started making my wishlist that so brashly includes a little more than ten books (and counting). I've pegged The Millennium Trilogy into that too.
Material satisfaction aside, I just want to share this trailer:
I haven't read the whole trilogy yet, let alone the first book, but The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is a crime novel by Stieg Larsson ("Stieg" is so kick-ass). A journalist named Mikael Blomkvist loses a libel case and is sentenced to three months in prison. Because of this, he has to let go of his position in a magazine's board of directors (hm, snazzy, I'd like that). Meanwhile, he is offered a freelance assignment to uncover the "cold case" of the unexplained disappearance of Henrik Vanger's great-niece Harriet who went missing 40 years ago. While at this, Vanger commissions Lisbeth Salander, the social ice cube of a hacker, to dig out whatever she can about Blomkvist. Twisted, eh?
`Sucks, though, that the movie adaptation has actually already been released...but in selected countries. No wonder I had no idea this was going on.
