Nah, I'm kidding. The weather's actually less lethal. I chose to stay home so I could help out in cooking but considering I've put on some weight, I guess I haven't been of much assistance around the kitchen.
Important events this 2011?
- I graduated from high school and I still haven't moved on from it. Contrary to me imposing that I am anti-social (yeah, right) I'm very attached to my high school friends.
- I am now a college girl! Corny.
- The Harry Potter series officially ended. Goodbye, decent mainstream literature.
- Space available for advertising! Interested? Call me! My phone has been silent recently.
I've been doing a lot of thinking today. Collectively my posts haven't been sunshine-y this year, so I'm promising myself 2012 will be different. Perhaps I speak for you lot that we all want to be happier, yes?
For this resolution, I've compiled a 2012 checklist (because I am, above all, an ambitious git.)
- I will dye my hair when I turn 18; assuming, of course, that my mother doesn't go berserk the moment she learns about the sincerity and seriousness of my plan. This compulsion originates from people always telling me I look like someone from somewhere. I emphasize the word always. Wherever I go, I will always remind people of someone. In my principal quest of obtaining an identity of my own and not an identity confused by others as someone else's, I shall dye my hair. I admit it's shallow but I presume you, too, know the feeling of wanting something but not needing it, so to compensate for the guilt you opt for a morally sane justification to make yourself feel better.
- I will improve my handwriting. Over the years it seems as if my right hand has developed some sort of seizure that attacks only when I'm writing, so my notes always look like puke smeared on tree fibers. I feel sorry for the professors who had to read my written essays.
- I will learn French. Remember when I said I will finish Schaumm by the end of the year? It didn't really push through. Sticking to something isn't exactly my specialty, which brings us to--
- -- keeping myself organized throughout the rest of the academic year and the next. I'm still looking for a planner awesome enough to keep up with my "tight" schedule (eating, sleeping, you know the drill). If you know a place where I can buy a Belle de Jour planner aside from NBS, which, I think, has run out of stock, please comment!
- Move on, let go, huwag nang maging OA!
Here ye, homies. A happier year is nigh!
Looking forward to the hair. Let's see if it won't remind me of someone else, again (kidding)
ReplyDeletehahaha! Buang ka mark. Excuse lang na. I just want to have new hair. *trollface
ReplyDeleteWhy not dye your hair now?
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to get my mum's forgiving, I-will-love-you-no-matter-what-you-do-with-your-hair side to resurface.
