I just read a fan account posted by one of my fellow SuJu fans in Facebook and I had my mouth literally hanging open during the whole time. I was thinking, asdkf what the hell, she's so lucky, her hand got kissed by THE Cho Kyuhyun :O Maybe when I've saved up enough money for an SVIP seat and plane tickets (that is, if I don't go to college in Manila), I can make a gigantic fan sign for Yesung (I doubt Kibum will be there) and have my hand kissed too. Hahahahaha. I'll be the happiest person in the world.

Not-so-relevant K-Pop updates

I was in couch-potato-mode again a few hours earlier, so I decided to visit the channel Arirang, hoping I'd get to watch Super Junior features.

Showbiz Extra was on with Yemie and Adrien Lee (I don't know what their relationship is. Many Koreans share the same family name) as the usual emcees (I like their TV-hosting hooplahs. They're quirky and professional at the same time). I was getting bored; I had no idea who most of the celebrities they were presenting are. I was dozing off until I heard Kim Taeyeon's name-- yes, the SNSD leader-- announced as the one who took the lead role in the upcoming stage play Taiyou no Uta. I got interested since that play was originally a movie-slash-series from Japan, and it's one of my favorites. The singer-composer Yui Yoshioka (yes, yes, I mentioned her in my previous post) also starred as the main character in the movie, and Erika Sawajiri (the one from A Liter of Tears) in the series.

Kudos to Taeyeon! She's the second SNSD member who gets to star in a stage play, the other one being Jessica (Legally Blonde).

I never knew three of the U-Kiss members can actually speak English fluently. Eli, Alexander and Kevin were the hosts of Pops in Seoul; I don't know if they're official hosts there, but I find watching them announce and goof around to be kind of...disturbing. No offense to the fans. I've been clueless about U-kiss until last night when I watched one of their music videos on TV. I was unnerved but that's another story.

BUT that is not the point of this write-up. Gah, I keep on straying from the topic. Pops in Seoul was featuring a "90s heartthrob boy band" called H.O.T. (and I don't even want to remember what the acronym stands for), the members of which sported less than normal haircuts that, according to Kevin, were actually cool. And the surprising thing is...they are the original performers of Haengbok, a Super Junior remake.

I can't imagine SuJu having the same weird hairstyle.

Speaking of these smexy Gods of Dance and Song, there are TWO DAYS before Super Show 2. I heard they will be arriving at 11 am tomorrow and staying at the Shangri-La Hotel. I'd better get a course in Journalism and have my license...so I could let them camwhore in front of me someday.

Some kind of Introduction

I'm not exactly comfortable with creating blog posts about certain things involving me (or other dimwit stuff I'll be writing about that still involves me) without you knowing who I am and what I do, or how I tend to act around cute Chinese kids.

- I love smoothies, especially when they're overflowing with the creamy goodness they're supposed to have (smoothie-making people don't pay much attention to flavor these days). Strawberries are my favorite, so please don't get jippity-yappy when you see me ordering Pink Flirt at Crammer's.

- I'm asthmatic. Oh, dang, YES I AM. I've always fancied running around the school campus' oval field but I end up losing my ability to breathe afterward. We had track and field during second year and we did 400-m dashes. I started off first-- I love being ahead (haha)-- but finished last because I had to stop for a massive intake of oxygen.

- I play soccer. It's ironic, yeah, and to think I'm not even an official sportswoman.

- I sketch, I draw, I paint...and I Photoshop (Webster should register "Photoshop" as a verb). I love art. It keeps me company.

- I AM A BOOKWORM. I read almost anything.

- And I am an audiophile. You'd say I have strange taste in music, but hey, I appreciate a wide range of melodies. I love Japan's Naitomea and Yui Yoshioka. I swoon whenever I listen to Kyuhyun's and Yesung's voices. I adore Paramore. I think Lady Gaga's music is epic.

- Oh, anti-Super Junior women (I understand the plight of guys when it comes to this), you're missing out on the hormone rage. I was a lost individual myself, but my distorted mindset shifted somehow a few months ago. Now I'm basically a sucker for them. You just have to love their strange antics...and Kim Kibum's perfect set of teeth.

- Chinese kids? Yeah. I think they're adorable, like pandas. (Remember that Oreo Sippy Cup commercial?) I might have a thing for PRC. Er, I don't know.

- I...kind of suck at Physics. My dad must be disappointed. Haha.

- I'm religious; or at least, I try to be. I keep my record of not having missed Mass since February...even though I haven't confessed since last year.

- I cry...a lot. Especially when I watch fluffy dramas that have good endings. Gahd, what's wrong with me?

- I like recommending...I am the Goddess of Recommendation. I recommend everything to everyone.

This will (hopefully) be the last entry I'll write about myself. (People who know me well should be disagreeing right now.) The whole process is disturbing.
